Scripps Institution of Oceanography and Birch Aquarium have teamed up to give the public an experience of a lifetime seeing the Scripps Pier up close. The Scripps Pier is primarily used for scientific research and generally off limits to the general public.

The cost is $30 per person ($25 for aquarium members), visitors get more than just a moonlit walk they will get a tour of the Scripps Campus at dusk.
