La Jolla Cove 12-09 002[1]   Happy New Year! I want to wish everyone a very healthy & happy 2010! I for one am happy to see the back side of 2009 go and looking forward to the New Year. I must admit that as a La Jolla Realtor last year’s housing market was one of the most challenging I have seen in the past 18 years! The down turn in the economy and the huge mortgage meltdown created a large number of Foreclosures and Short Sales. Then there was ever present challenge that every homebuyer had with Lending Institutions across the country as they tried to obtain loans for their homes.

Yes, I am excited for 2010! When my husband and I were walking on New Year’s Day in La Jolla at the Cove we started discussing what action words would best describe our theme for 2010?  My husband’s word is awesome.  He wants an “awesome year for himself, our family and the world”. My word is abundance. I look forward to having an abundance of clients and hope to offer them premium client service, with the latest real estate information on my blog www.viewsoflajolla.com  and social media sites. I also plan on staying current with all the latest cutting edge technology that will benefit my clients.

I also want my abundance theme to carry over to my personal life! I want to stay healthy by exercising and eating more balanced meals. I want to see more laughter and happiness throughout each day, by realizing I can only control my attitude! Most importantly I want to have an abundance of Love, with my husband, daughters and extended family! Because at the end of the day family is what matters!

Here’s wishing you a very happy 2010! If you want to share your action word for 2010 or if you need any information on real estate please give me a call 619-980-2738 or visit my website
