La Jolla Village, which is not to be confused with the Village of La Jolla (above). La Jolla Village is located northeast of La Jolla, east of La Jolla Heights, north and west of Interstate 5, and south of the University of California, San Diego. La Jolla Village is famous for its namesake, The La Jolla Village Square shopping and residential mall, which includes La Jolla’s two movie theaters.
