I’ve been saying this for a couple of weeks! La Jolla’s Real Estate Market is starting to heat up! This weekend I was showing homes in La Jolla, and at every home I showed there were number of buyers viewing it too. As La Jolla Realtor I can feel that our market is starting to change! Buyers are realizing that if La Jolla home values are not at their bottom they are pretty close to it, they don’t want to miss their chances of buying a new La Jolla home!

As you can see, the Market Action Index shows this week the median price of a La Jolla is $1,449,000. The average days a La Jolla home is on the market is going down! Its now 175 days! There are currently only 245 properties on the market! This means homes that are priced right are selling, some even had multiple offers!

The La Jolla properties have been on the market for an average 175 days! While half of the listings have come newly on the market in the past 98 days or so.

If you are thinking of buying a La Jolla don’t wait much longer! You don’t want to look back in a year from now and say “I wished I bought my home in the Spring of 2012!”

Feel free to call me 619-980-2738 or email me at Michelle@viewsoflajolla.com to learn more about La Jolla’s real estate market or for a free Comparable Market Analysis (CMA) of the value of your home. I’m here to help!
