Everyone loves a parade! Whether you are kid or an adult there is no finer parade then the Beaumont Avenue Parade in Bird Rock on the 4th of July! The Beaumont Avenue Parade is a Bird Rock’s tradition and this year it will be the 33rd annual celebration! This year’s theme is ”Bird Rock Goes To The Movies”. Get your producer’s cap and get ready to shout out; lights, camera and action and watch the “show” go by. The parade is filled with floats, bicycles, skateboarders, dogs & neighbors all dressed up in red, white & blue to honor our nation’s Independence Day! Be a part of the parade or just watch from the sidewalks the action starts at 10:00 AM. The best-decorated float gets the “Uncle Sam” , 2nd is The Silver Bowl for most creative interpretation of ‘movies’ theme and even the most decorated home gets an award “The Murphy Cup”. There will be a food, kids games and a band playing at the cul-de-sac-party! The Beaumont Avenue Parade is a great way to kick off July 4th
